Carrie Davis

Founder; CD Consulting, Former CCO, Live Nation Entertainment

With more than 20 years of experience in entertainment and technology corporate communications, Carrie Davis founded CD Consulting, a boutique PR practice in 2020. She takes clients by referral only and provides strategic counsel, crisis communications, positioning, messaging and media relations services. Her clients include the Anita Hill-led Hollywood Commission, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw’s Hearthland Foundation, Soledad O’Brien Productions, Hulu and Redfin.

From 2015-2020, Carrie served as Chief Communications Officer of Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s largest live entertainment company, with 37,000 employees and $11.55 billion in 2019 revenue. In that role, she led all aspects of communications for the company’s global concerts, venues, artist management, sponsorship and Ticketmaster divisions. Previously, Carrie was Vice President of Communications for Disney Interactive, the digital entertainment division of the Walt Disney Company; Vice President of Communications at Match.com; and was the Director of Communications for Yahoo, leading communications for the company’s media group and overseeing public relations. She began her career as an independent publicist for urban arts and entertainment clients including Tommy Boy Records, Aaliyah, Timbaland, OutKast, Fab 5 Freddy and Def Poetry Jam on Broadway.

Carrie serves on the Board of Directors of USC Annenberg School of Communication’s Center for PR and the Saban Community Clinic.
She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997 and lives in Los Angeles with her husband and 9-year-old twins.
