Mark Siegel is Chief Executive Officer of Epic Staffing Group (www.EpicStaffingGroup.com), a portfolio company of The Pritzker Organization (www.pritzkerorg.com/). Epic Staffing Group is a leading national provider of staffing services to the healthcare and Life Sciences industries and is one of the largest healthcare staffing firms in the country.
Mark came to Epic Staffing from Emerald Health Services, which he joined as President and minority owner in October of 2013. Upon joining, Mark led the company into its next phase of high growth, supported by strong infrastructure, culminating in a sale of the company to Webster Equity Partners in March of 2018. Following the transaction, Mark led the company through eight acquisitions and strong organic growth, culminating with a sale of the company to The Pritzker Organization in June of 2022.
Prior to joining Epic Staffing Group, Mark led several companies through a variety of strategic, operational and financial transitions. In that capacity, Mark was Chief Executive Officer of Street Surfing Worldwide, where he successfully restructured the business, transitioning it from family ownership to Private Equity.
Prior to Street Surfing, Mark was Chief Executive Officer of Ultra-Pro Corporation, a Marlin Equity Portfolio Company. In this role, Mark had responsibility over Ultra-Pro and its three subsidiary companies, manufacturing and marketing diverse consumer product lines such as children’s fashion accessories, kitchen cutlery and sports collectible accessories.
Prior to Ultra-Pro, he served in Executive and Management roles for Fortune 500 and publicly traded companies including Mattel, Petsmart and Equity Marketing along with private equity and family owned businesses such as Stravina Operating Company and Teleflora.
In his previous roles Mark has held responsibility for functional areas including Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Asia Operations across the fields of toys, pet supplies, flowers, gifts and sporting goods. Mark’s experience spans the mass and specialty markets across the United States, Europe and South America. Mark has led multiple acquisitions & divestitures, along with debt restructuring and management turnarounds.
Mark is a founding member of the Pacific Coast Gold Chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and has held Board seats with Pinnacle Fertility, Prosum IT and the Youth Business Alliance (YBA).
Mark gained his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
