Jonathan Lerner is a Data Science leader at Google for Gemini and Google Assistant, responsible for building generative AI and improving product experiences for over 500 million users around the world. Previously he was Managing Director, Head of Client Data Science at BlackRock, responsible for the AI models and analytics driving the firm’s engagement strategy across all client businesses globally. Before BlackRock Jon led data science teams across the Mobility business at Uber, including Rider Loyalty/Subscriptions (UberOne) and Marketplace Investments. For the first decade of his career he was a Portfolio Manager in the hedge fund industry, focused on algorithmic and Global Macro strategies, and lived for four of those years in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Jon holds a Bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics, magna cum laude, from Harvard University and an MBA from the Wharton School.
