Adina L. Savin is President of Savin Stories, Inc., the company she founded in 2022 with a First Look Deal at Disney. Savin Stories Inc. is Ms. Savin’s vehicle for pursuing film and television projects of her own choosing -- and in support of her personal passions – after an entertainment career of serving others that spans more than 35 years.

Ms. Savin’s career as an entertainment lawyer and senior executive includes many “firsts”, starting with first Vice President and head of Business and Legal Affairs for Warner Bros. International Television Distribution; then, first Senior Vice President and head of Television Business and Legal Affairs for Carolco Pictures; next, first Senior Vice President and head of Business and Legal Affairs for Film & Television at Rysher Entertainment; next, first female in charge of Business Affairs and Legal for Disney Channels Worldwide and for Disney Television Animation. During her time at Disney, Savin at various times also was in charge of Soapnet, ABC Family, and ABC Daytime’s Business and Legal Affairs.

Ms. Savin’s career at Disney culminated with serving as the first Executive Vice President in charge of Business Affairs for all of Disney Branded Television. Ms. Savin estimates that she has negotiated, supervised, and/or personally concluded tens of thousands of television series and movie deals over the course of her career across the entertainment spectrum of live action scripted, unscripted, and animated projects; from original source and book rights deals, to development and production talent services deals, through distribution and exhibition deals, domestic and worldwide.

Ms. Savin’s legal career began as one of the first women lawyers recruited by the prestigious California law firm of O’Melveny & Myers. She joined the litigation department and worked on the largest set of private antitrust cases that had ever been filed for several years before deciding to become an entertainment lawyer instead. Ms. Savin is a member of the California, New York, and Federal Bars.

Ms. Savin is a native Angeleno. She earned a BA in Political Science from USC; an MA in Legislative Politics from Rutgers’ Eagleton Institute, and a JD from NYU Law. She received numerous honors, scholarships, and fellowships which made her education possible. By mentoring others and endowing scholarships at USC and NYU Law, Ms Savin is now “paying it forward” so that others might experience such opportunities as she was once given.

Her private passions include Egyptology and wildlife conservation. Ms. Savin is a member of the Board of Governors for the American Research Center in Egypt. She is also an Ambassador for the Cheetah Conservation Fund.
